Only a handful of guitars can capture the Jimi Hendrix unique artistic creativity. 300 guitars produced in 2006 by the Gibson Custom Shop commemorating Hendrix’s customized ’67 Flying V, handpainted using whatever materials he could find, mainly nail polish. He would use this V on slow blues numbers. Features include a mahogany body and neck with a 1-9/16″ nut width, 24-3/4″ scale length, rosewood fretboard with 22 jumbo frets, two ’57 Reissue PAF humbuckers, individual volume knobs with a master tone knob, 3-way toggle switch, black “Witch Hat” knobs, a Maestro tailpiece, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and nickel hardware. This one is #180, never played and still mint and includes original Gibson Custom Shop case, COA, & all factory paperwork including factory tags & serial # checklist.
